Who is the Club open to?

Lymington Boat Club is open to anyone over the age of 25 who holds an RYA Level 2 Powerboat qualification or equivalent.

What if I am not qualified?

If you have relevant boating experience but do not have the qualification, you can join and then we will organise and pay for you to do your powerboat qualification on board a Club boat.

New to boating?

If you are new to boating and have neither the experience nor qualifications, please call us to talk through how to become a member.

Fees?

Annual membership of Lymington Boat Club is a set annual fee of £10,500 for unlimited use of the Club fleet. You may add a spouse or member of your family who lives at your home address as an additional helm at the cost of £1,000 on top of your membership. Please enquire for our latest pricing.

May we charter instead?

It is not possible to charter the Club boats, they are only available to members who join the Club. Please see Solent Rib Charter if you wish to charter boats instead of joining the Club.

Do you offer seasonal membership?

No, the minimum period is twelve months, payment is due at the beginning of your membership in full.

Do you always have vacancies?

Not necessarily. We control membership to ensure that we continue providing unrivalled access to the Club boats. Experience shows that we are more likely to have vacancies for those joining in winter months than during peak season.
