How it Works

Lymington Boat Club allows its members to enjoy the best of boating with a choice of immaculately maintained boats from Lymington Yacht Haven marina. Members simply reserve a boat via our bulletproof App, turn up and enjoy! On return, just hose the boat off and leave the rest to us. The Boat Club is a low commitment, hassle-free way to enjoy the water.

Membership

Lymington Boat Club offers unlimited boating for a fixed annual fee of £10,500 for a single helm. To add a named driver is an additional £1,000, they must be a member of your household. There are no joining fees or hidden costs, just pay for the fuel you use. LBC members also enjoy an array of benefits including a 10% discount at the Haven Bar and Restaurant and a 5% discount off petrol. Members are issued with berth holder electronic fobs to access all the marina’s facilities.

Booking

On joining Lymington Boat Club, members will receive a login and password to access the booking App and start planning time on the water. Members can book two sessions in advance; as soon as they have used a session, they can book another. Each member also receives a Golden Ticket to book a full day as far ahead as they like for special occasions.

Experience

Past boating experience is certainly a benefit. Members need to be over twenty five and have an RYA Powerboat Level 2 ticket to meet insurance requirements. We do include a free Level 2 course within the membership fee for those who have the experience but do not hold a ticket. If you have no boating experience, please talk us about the best way of becoming a member.

Our expert operations team keep the fleet in superb condition including a full winter refit for each boat. We manage all aspects of boat maintenance; with our unparalleled infrastructure and experience we pride ourselves on solving problems at the speed of light, allowing you to enjoy stress free boating.

Lymington Yacht Haven

Our home marina, the award-winning Lymington Yacht Haven, is a Five Gold Anchor Marina. The marina enjoys arguably the best location in the Solent for access to the finest boating the Solent has to offer. The marina has oodles of free parking, free wifi, a brilliant bistro and luxury facilities plus super friendly staff. The marina is accessible at all states of tide and open year round.

A really great business.

A really great business and we thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the club. My wife and I both did our training with LBC and all of the crew and captains we met were friendly and professional, and Hannah was very accommodating with all our requests. Boats were always available, even at the last minute, and were all well maintained and clean. We only left to move to the US or we would have stayed life-long members.

Lymington boat Club run by Hannah and the team is without question, the best option for recently qualified, novice or experienced power boat enthusiasts. Their fleet is immaculate and maintained to full commercial standards with life vests and all relevant safety equipment and rafts), the team that look after you on site are cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable and expert.

Lymington Boat Club is great concept.

The Lymington Boat Club is great concept, for a fixed annual fee you get access to a range of high specification Ribs and Motor Boats. The Booking system is fair and easy for members. The boats are kept in top condition and the LBC staff are always willing to help with any issues are questions. Compared to owning your own boat (I have tried that option) this is so much better.

If you are into boating but don’t want the hassle of ownership then the Lymington Boat club is the place to go. Great choice of boats and located in Lymington haven yacht club in prime pontoon positions. The most impressive thing for me is the focus on safety. The boats are in amazing condition and are superbly maintained.
